Independent survey by Nashville Business Journal rates firms
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 25, 2013) – Happy employees are creative employees. Or is it the other way around – creative employees are happy employees?
Regardless, both sayings are true at BOHAN Advertising, which The Nashville Business Journal has cited on its “Best Places To Work 2013” list.
Research firm Quantum Workplace surveyed employees in nominated firms throughout the Nashville area. Twelve made the “Best Places” list in the category for firms with between 26 and 100 employees.
The survey measured 10 key engagement categories, according the Eric Snyder, managing editor of The Nashville Business Journal.
Those categories included team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders and manager effectiveness.
“We have a very special workplace environment built on the concept of villages, working teams that involve everyone on an account. The communication and camaraderie that result are impressive,” said David Bohan, chairman and CEO of the agency.
The agency, whose office is in Nashville’s revitalizing Gulch district, has more than 80 employees. Its most recent creative accolade was an Emmy Award. It has won Emmy Awards eight of the last nine years for seven different clients in various business sectors.
BOHAN, established in 1990, is a full-service advertising and marketing agency. It has major clients in tourism, healthcare, retail and consumer goods. Agency information is online at www.BohanIdeas.com.
