Ochsner pulled seven individual community hospitals out of the rubble of Katrina, added their nationally recognized Jefferson Parish facility and 35 medical centers, and tasked us with marketing it as a system. Using women’s services as our initial cross-specialty hook, and the line “Everywhere You Need Us,” awareness of Women’s Services rose 20 percent, and ad awareness increased 11 percent in year one. A follow-up campaign emphasized clinical expertise, technology, accolades and the human success stories that resulted in one of the most talked about campaigns in NOLA history.
